Summerfest modifies water carry-in policy for Thursday
MILWAUKEE- Due to Thursday's heat advisory, Summerfest will modify the water carry-in policy during operating hours on Thursday, June 28, according to a press release.
Summerfest officials say patrons will be allowed to carry in unopened clear bottles of water, empty camel backs or empty collapsible, refillable water bottles.
Additionally, misting stations will be located on the north, mid and south end of the grounds.
Authorities will provide: increased staff to handle medical emergencies; air-conditioned buses on the north, mid and south end of the grounds for patrons in need of medical services.
Summerfest officials suggest people take frequent breaks, get in the shade or air conditioning throughout the day.
