Milwaukee band nervous, excited for opening Summerfest
MILWAUKEE- Summerfest is underway and around 700 bands are expected to play throughout the 11-day festival on 11 different stages along Milwaukee's lakefront.
Only one band can kick off the festival and that was a Milwaukee group -- "Jackie Brown and The Boys" at the Miller Lite Oasis stage.
The group played a classic and alternative rock set before thousands of people Wednesday afternoon.
The band's leading lady of the group told TODAY'S TMJ4's Steve Chamraz she was nervous, but was excited for the once in a lifetime opportunity.
