'Koncert for Kaylen' in Wauwatosa
WAUWATOSA - People in Wauwatosa are coming together to support a little girl who has been diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumor.
Business and community leaders have joined friends and neighbors to put together a concert to support the Birk family.
Kaylen Birk is six years old. Her family found out that she has an inoperable tumor on her brain stem.
Kaylen is fighting the tumor, taking part in a clinical trial at a Chicago hospital.
The treatment is bringing some hope to the family, but they have a long way to go.
Supporters call it 'Koncert for Kaylen."
It's been scheduled for Thursday night at 6:00 p.m. at Hart Park in Wauwatosa.
Tickets are $20 for adults and $5 for children.
