Shooting victim identified in north side homicide
MILWAUKEE- Authorities have identified a 22-year-old man who was shot and killed Saturday afternoon on Milwaukee's north side.
Milwaukee police said they are investigating the circumstances of a shooting that left Brandon L. Byrd dead near 39th and Garfield.
A woman was hospitalized in that shooting, but is expected to survive.
Milwaukee police don't have anyone in custody as of Monday afternoon.
Just two weeks ago, a lengthy gun battle injured three teens near 40th and Garfield.
