MILWAUKEE - The Rock 'N Sole half marathon was an emotional event for family and friends of a Campbellsport teenager, killed in a high speed crash in February.
A number of supporters came out to run the race in her memory and they stuck together, wearing t-shirts bearing a photo of Katie Berg.
Berg and two of her classmates were killed when the SUV they were riding in with six other girls lost control on a country road.
Police estimate the SUV was going 100 mph when it crashed.
Bonnie Berg, Katie's mother, tells Today's TMJ4's Todd Hicks that the families of the two other girls who died have stuck together to support each other through some very difficult days.
Eighteen-year-old Carly Ottery has been charged with the deaths of Katie Berg, Sabrina Stahl and Caitlin Scanell.
