WATERFORD - The Village of Waterford has issued an immediate ban on outside sprinkling and water use for purposes of conserving water. Residents and businesses are requested to conserve water wherever possible until further notice.

Due to a mechanical failure of the well pump from the Village's highest capacity well, there is a ban on all watering for purposes of outside sprinkling and water use until further notice.

Village officials are trying to correct the problem, but say even with expediting the project, it could be at least seven days before the situation can be fixed.

Individuals may call the Village at 262-534-3980 for additional information about the irrigation ban.
