Report: Paul Ryan vetted for VP
JANESVILLE- The National Review is reporting that Janesville Representative Paul Ryan has submitted paperwork to the Romney campaign; he is being vetted for VP.
Ryan was with Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney when he campaigned in Janesville on Monday.
Governor Walker was among the speakers Monday and he told TODAY'S TMJ4 about Paul Ryan as a VP candidate. "I'm a homer. I'd love to have Paul, I think he's probably it if you really want to tackle the budget and economic crisis, he's the guy, there's nobody better," said Walker.
According to U.S. Senator Ron Johnson, "I think Paul Ryan would be an excellent choice (for VP)."
Paul Ryan previously campaigned for Romney in the presidential primary.
But Wisconsin Democrats say even if Romney gets a boost in Wisconsin from a possible Romney-Ryan ticket, that President Obama will win again here in Wisconsin.
