Search continues for boater on Miss. River lake bordering Wisconsin
BAY CITY, Wis. (AP) -- The search continues on Lake Pepin in Pierce County for a man who fell from a boat.
Sheriff's authorities say the 38-year-old man was in a boat with his wife on the lake east of Bay City Saturday.
The 36-year-old woman told deputies her husband fell overboard and she jumped in after him.
The woman said she swam to shore to get help after her husband went under water.
Lake Pepin is a wide spot in the Mississippi River on the Wisconsin-Minnesota border.
