Brewers to host 'Italian Heritage Day' at Miller Park
MILWAUKEE - The Milwaukee Brewers have hosted special events at their games to honor African-American, German and Hispanic heritage.
Now, they're adding "Italian Heritage Day."
The team will hold that day as part of their Sunday home game against the Arizona Diamondbacks on July 1st at Miller Park.
The team will wear red, white and green jerseys which say "Birrai," which means Brewers in Italian. The Diamondbacks will wear jerseys that say "iD-backs."
The Brewers will also give an Italian Sausage bobblehead to all fans in attendance. Italian Dancers will perform at the game as well.
