Man injured after fall from tree in Whitefish Bay

WHITEFISH BAY - Flight for Life has taken a man to Froedtert Hospital in Wauwatosa after he fell about 30 feet from a tree.   Authorities say his injuris appear to be critical.

North Shore Fire Department Chief Robert Whitaker said the worker was a contractor working on a tree on the 5600 block of North Shore Drive.

"We received a 911 call reporting an 18-year-old male who had fallen 30 feet.  Our company arrived on scene to find the subject down in the street. "

Authorities said later that the man was in his 20's.

There was no initial information on the victim's condition.

No other people were injured in that incident.

Whitefish Bay and Fox Point Police were working together on the investigation.
