Repeat of seasonal, sunny weather in Milwaukee
MILWAUKEE - It might seem as if mother nature is pushing the repeat button when it comes to Wednesday's weather in Southeastern Wisconsin, but most people in our area would probably not complain.
"Apparently the forecast turned into a broken record," said Storm Team 4Caster Jesse Ritka.
"We are looking at another almost repeat forecast in southeast Wisconsin. (There will be) plenty of sunshine with temperatures cooler at the lakefront due to a NE wind at 5-10 mph."
However, Jesse tells us the repeat button won't be necessary for Thursday.
"Finally we break the trend on Thursday as winds eventually have a southerly direction to them, which means a warming trend will take over the weather pattern. Everyone will see 70s with upper 70s possible inland and plenty of sun."
She explains that temperatures will also head into the 80's on Friday.
"High pressure slides south, kicking in a stronger SW breeze at 10-15 mph but keeping the sunshine out. There is a very slim shot of an isolated shower or thunderstorm to develop in the afternoon, but we'll say mostly dry."
Jesse also says the warming trend will continue into and beyond Saturday.
"The dry and warm pattern continues into the weekend and it will definitely feel like summer with blue skies and mid to upper 80s expected both Saturday and Sunday. The only real good shot to see some much needed rain comes late Sunday night and into Monday and temperatures will start to fall back into the 70s by Tuesday," said Jesse.
