Controversy surrounding political flyers containing names, addresses of voters

MILWAUKEE- Some people are asking questions about postcards reminding people to vote.
A flyer going out by a political action committee has neighbors names, addresses and whether they voted in 2008 and 2010.
The flyer asks for you to vote, and get your neighbor to vote. But some people are mad their personal information is published.
One homeowner in Sherman Park says he's been inundated with political mailers and people at his door.
"I don't like that type of thing," said James Reed. "That's kind of an invasion of my privacy, really."
The Greater Wisconsin Political Fund is responsible for the mailer.
In addition to the names and addresses, the flyer states that, "Scott Walker won in 2010 because too many people stayed home."
TODAY'S TMJ4 tried to contact the Greater Wisconsin Fund, but TODAY'S TMJ4 could not leave a voicemail, and they did not respond to emails.
Not everyone is opposed to this type of effort, "I think it's impressive," said Albert Patterson. "It lets you know what's happening in the community."
Most of the neighbors TODAY'S TMJ4 spoke with agree on one thing, they are anxious for tomorrow -- so they stop getting any of the political mailers.
