BEAVER DAM - A 51-year-old man from Wauwatosa is dead and his young grandson is safe after a motorcycle crash in Dodge County.
It happened at 11:35 a.m. Sunday on State Highway 16/60 at County Highway J.
Dodge County Sheriff Deputies say the man veered the motorcycle onto the shoulder and crashed into a mailbox.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene by first responders.
The victim's eight-year-old grandson was taken to a hospital for precautionary reasons.
He's expected to be okay.
