West Allis man cited for disorderly conduct at Democratic rally
MILWAUKEE- A West Allis protester has been arrested and cited at a Democratic rally featuring former President Bill Clinton Friday at Pere Marquette Park.
Milwaukee police say the suspect was given a citation for disorderly conduct when he refused to follow police orders.
Police asked the man to step back from his location where he was waving a large wooden pole, but he didn't follow their instructions.
Authorities believe the man posed a threat because of his proximity to Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett.
The suspect was subsequently arrested, cited then released.
According to police, rally organizers warned police about that protester before the rally.
