Hot Memorial Day with p.m. rain/storms in Milwaukee
MILWAUKEE - People hoping to mark Memorial Day with remembrances and time with loved ones will find a warm, windy day with rain and storms developing during the afternoon, according to Storm Team 4Caster Scott Steele.
"We'll continue to see very warm conditions for Memorial Day with highs well into the 80s," said Scott.
"A cold front approaching from the west will help trigger some showers and thunderstorms as we progress through the day."
Then, according to Scott, the area will experience a drop-off in temperatures.
"Behind that front, a much cooler and drier air mass sets up shop across our region through midweek. Look for temperatures to reach the 70s on Tuesday and only the 60s on Wednesday with plenty of sunshine for both days."
