Digging Out Before The Freeze

MILWAUKEE - With a deep freeze on the way this weekend, the rush is on to finish digging out from this week's snow storm.

In Milwaukee’s Bayview neighborhood, the goal is to finish shoveling before the temperature drops.

Timothy Loiacano rushed to get rid of the snow before heading to work.

“I'm going in now as soon as I get done here,” Loiacano said.

Scoop after scoop, Timothy says he enjoys moving snow.

"I don't mind being outdoors. It's a little frustrating on the back," Loiacano said.

A few blocks away on Milwaukee’s Story Hill…

“It's come a time for an end I’d say,” John Gutzke said.

The wake of a plow trapped John Gutzke in his driveway.

TODAY’S TMJ4’s Tom Murray: “How’s this been, this week of digging out?”

“Trying,” John Gutzke said.

When he's done, it's on to help the neighbors.

"Just so everyone gets their shopping done before the freeze," John Gutzke said.
