Young man shot in neck on Milwaukee's near west side
MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee Police said they were taking Friday to investigate the shooting of a young man on a sidewalk Milwaukee's near west side.
The shooting happened at about 12:00 a.m. Friday morning near the corner of North 25th and West Wells Streets.
Police said someone shot the victim, 21, in the neck while he was standing on a sidewalk.
Authorities believe he should survive his injuries.
Investigators were looking for a suspect or suspects, while also trying to find out the motive for the shooting.
