Man dies in fire at Florence Co farm
TOWN OF HOMESTEAD, Wis. (AP) -- Firefighters found the body of a man after fire swept a Florence County farmhouse and spread to the barn and nearby woods.
Florence County sheriff's officials say a person driving by the Town of Homestead property Tuesday afternoon spotted the fire and called 911.
Fire crews searching the home found the body of one of the owners, Vance Friberg.
Numerous departments assisted in firefighting efforts. Two firefighters received minor injuries.
