Alderman Donovan addressing supporters; asking streetcar project be put on hold
MILWAUKEE- A Milwaukee alderman is asking for Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett to hold off on a proposed streetcar project.
Alderman Bob Donovan addressed supporters Tuesday evening at McKiernan's Pub on Milwaukee's south side to take 65 million dollars in federal money and put it toward repaving city streets.
This is second press conference held in a week regarding Alderman Donovan's stance on the streetcar project. The first one ended up with a shouting match between Alderman Donovan and Milwaukee Alderman Bob Bauman.
Alderman Donovan told TODAY'S TMJ4 Tuesday evening he's calling on residents to sign petitions.
Donovan is there with dozens of his supporters.
