Family Steps Up Search For Missing Man
Michael George
BAYSIDE - Family members are stepping up efforts to find a missing 33-year-old from Bayside.
Brian Martin's picture is posted at the entrance to the apartment building where he lived and worked. His friends still don't know why he vanished.
"I think everybody has the same feeling as I do. Where is Brian? Because this seems so out of character for the Brian that we've known," said Nona Rowen, a resident in his building.
The 33-year-old may have been spotted getting off a bus at the Bayshore Town Center. That was more than two weeks ago.
Multiple searches and even billboards across the city haven't led police to Brian's location yet. His family paid for several electronic billboards in Milwaukee in the hopes that someone will call in a tip. Brian was arrested for drunk driving just two days before he went missing.
Friends don't believe he was suicidal.
"Brian is a fun person, he's always smiling, he's a person that would always greet you in a nice way," Rowen said.
Those close to Brian are just hoping that he is safe and watching somewhere.
"Please answer and come forward, we'd all like to know where you are and have you come back," Rowen said.
Brian Martin is 5'9'', 330 pounds, with brown hair. He was last seen wearing a blue jacket. Anyone with information should call Bayside police.
