Waukesha West locked down after report of coyote hunter
WAUKESHA - Waukesha Police tell Newsradio 620 WTMJ that Waukesha West High School went on lockdown Tuesday morning.
Captain Ron Oremus explained that at about 8:30 a.m., the school went on lockdown after a man was hunting a coyote in the area near the school.
The lockdown ended about a half hour later.
The man wasn't cited because he never left his property when hunting the coyote.
Waukesha West High School officials said they locked down the school as a precaution.
