Racine bank robbery suspect on loose
RACINE- Racine police are asking for the public's help in finding a bank robber.
According to a press release, a black man entered a Chase Bank at 500 Wisconsin Ave. around 12:25 p.m. Thursday and passed a note to a bank employee demanding money.
Once the suspect's demands were met, he fled the bank and got in a brown truck that drove away from the area.
About 20 minutes later, authorities brought in a person for questioning that was seen with the suspect before and after the robbery.
Officers were able to locate and impound the truck used after the robbery.
Racine police are asking for people with information about this robbery to call the Racine police department at (262) 635-7700 and ask for the Investigations Unit, or Crimestoppers at (262) 636-9330, or by texting RACS plus the message to CRIMES (274637) and referring to Tipsoft I.D. #TIP417 with your text message.
