GRAND CHUTE - If you wanted to own a heavy piece of Packer's history, all you had to do is come to Pawn America in Appleton and it could have been yours for $10,000.

Pawn America Appleton Manager LeRon Wilder tells TODAY'S TMJ4's Jesse Ritka, it's the real deal.  "It's an authentic Packers ring from 2010," he says.

And that's all it took for Packers fans to huddle around the ring Tuesday after Pawn America sent out a picture of the ring with this tweet: "This is probably our coolest piece @ #PawnAmerica Appleton!  An authenticated 2010 Green Bay #Packers Super Bowl Ring!"

Wilder says that tweet along brought so much excitement and fans through their doors, "People just want to touch it, just to see it, just the experience of feeling a Packer ring, I mean it's important."

So important that Dennis Brucks stopped in for a second time today to look at the diamond studded piece, "It's certainly much different from anything you'll find anywhere else, especially with the Packers.  True it's not the players' ring, but the players' ring would certainly be worth a lot more money."

The name "Pace" is on the side of the female staff Super Bowl ring, the only Pace listed on the Packers website belongs to "Attrium Operations Lead" Sarah Pace, who would not return calls from TODAY'S TMJ4.

Due to Pawn America's confidentiality policy, Wilder cannot say who's ring it was, how much they purchased it for or the reason behind the purchase, "I don't know the content of this one here, but you never know, sometimes times are tough, you just never know.  We're here, we're open for anything."

But Wilder says it has certainly brought a lot of smiles to curious Packers fans like Brucks.
"The lady that owned that can do with it what she wants, so here it is.  I want to see the credentials on it and documents and I'd be interested in making an offer," Brucks says.

20 minutes later, behind closed doors, he did just that and walked out with the ring and credentials.  "Right here, it's all legit.  You just don't walk into any store and buy one of these every day," Brucks exclaims.
