Waukesha council may vote on changes to police, fire dispatching
WAUKESHA - A potential decision by the Waukesha Common Council on Tuesday night could dramatically change how police and fire departments respond to emergencies in the city.
Council members could vote on a proposal to merge the dispatching for both departments with Waukesha County's consolidated dispatch operation.
The council meeting has been scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Tuesday night.
The City of New Berlin is considering the same plan.
