MILWAUKEE - The forecast for southeastern Wisconsin calls for plentiful sunshine and warmer temperatures for Mother's Day.

Light winds from the NE will keep it slightly cooler at the lakefront: 67° in Milwaukee, but inland areas will see 70s.  High pressure keeps the skies clear tonight and temperatures stay close to average, in the mid-40s.

The sunshine sticks around for Monday and everyone will see a bump in temperatures, widespread 70s are expected.  Tuesday will be warmer still with mostly sunny skies but a weak cold front may spark off a shower or isolated thunderstorm during the afternoon hours, it will not be a washout and some locations won't see any rain.

Temperatures will be cooler on Wednesday, in the low 60s in the lake of the cold front but at least it will look nice.  We warm back up into the 70s for Friday with a few spotty shower possible and a better chance for rain coming on Sunday.
