Sun increases, temperatures decrease in Milwaukee
MILWAUKEE - After the equivalent of a week filled with rain in the Milwaukee area, a day with more sunshine is finally expected Wednesday.
"High pressure finally pushes into our region today and helps to very slowly clear out our skies with decreasing clouds by the afternoon," said Storm Team 4Caster Scott Steele.
"Temperatures will be a bit cooler on northerly breezes. Look for high temperatures near 60 degrees."
Scott tells us that more sun will shine on us for the remainder of the week, with temperatures getting warmer as we head toward the weekend.
"Abundant sunshine and dry weather wrap up the work week on Thursday and Friday with a return flow of southerly winds helping to send readings rising to the low 70s inland, though it will remain a bit cooler lakeside."
