Work starts on new highway interchange
There will soon be a new interchange on I-94 at Drexel.
Crews started work Friday on the new Drexel Interchange between Ryan Road and Rawson Avenue.
Construction is right near the former Delphi plant site which has sat empty since 2008. Crews will turn that into retail and living space.
Officials hope to have the interchange completed by the end of this year.
