Kohler man gets hypothermia after swimming in river with only boxers
SHEBOYGAN - Sheboygan Police say a man has left a hospital after taking a swim in a river in only his boxer shorts, then suffered hypothermia.
WTMJ partner station WHBL Radio in Sheboygan says the man, who is 27 and from Kohler, left a bar on Penn Avenue early Friday morning.
According to police, the man put the rest of his clothes on a boardwalk and went into the river at about 1:30 a.m.
Someone who stepped out for a cigarette heard him, threw him a life ring and helped him out of the river.
