MILWAUKEE --- Alexis Patterson's mother believes here daughter Alexis is still alive, and she's begging anyone with any information to come forward.  She says this 10 year anniversary of Alexis' disappearance has been difficult.

"I haven't slept in two days,"  Ayannna Patterson told TODAY'S TMJ4. "I'm tired and stressed.  There's a lot going on with me physically, but 'm going to keep going on.  I'm not going to stop until my daughter comes home."

Alexis Patterson was last seen May 3rd, 2002.  Her stepfather Laron Bourgeois says he walked her a half block from their home to Hi-Mount Elementary School at 49th and Garfield. Milwaukee police have conducted more than 5,000 interviews in the case.

Wednesday they unveiled some new tools in the hopes of finding Alexis, including an age progression photograph provided by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.  It shows what Alexis would look like today at age 17.

Police also say they will be distributing playing cards with Alexis' image through correctional facilities in the hopes an inmate will have some information.  Police also showed the type of pink Barbie bag Alexis was carrying the day she disappeared.
