Teenager shot in Racine while sitting inside car
RACINE - Police in Racine say they are investigating the shooting of a 15-year-old boy.
Authorities said Monday that they initially responded to a report of a stabbing on Friday at about 11:10 p.m. on the 1200 block of Geneva Street.
After getting to the scene, they discovered the teenager who was shot in the face as he was sitting inside a car.
Rescue crews took him to Children's Hospital in Milwaukee. Authorities believe he should survive his injuries.
There was no word on a suspect or a motive.
