Early rain and fog before warmup in Milwaukee
MILWAUKEE - People in Milwaukee will experience a little bit of rain and some fog Monday morning before conditions become warmer across the area.
"After a split weekend, we'll experience a wide variety of conditions during the upcoming work week," said Storm Team 4Caster Scott Steele.
"We'll start with some lingering sprinkles and a good deal of cloudiness."
For the rest of the week, Scott predicts temperatures to rise and storms to roar through our area.
"A weak ridge gives us a break in the action on Tuesday. Then, a developing storm system will start feeding moisture into our region. Look for showers to make gradual progress and overspread southeast Wisconsin overnight Tuesday. As low pressure strengthens and a front comes closer, there will be enough lift in the atmosphere to see some rounds of thunderstorms Wednesday through Friday. A strong southerly wind will drive our temperatures all the way into the 70s by midweek, too."
