Badgers guard, Waterford native Kevin Zeitler drafted in 1st round
CINCINNATI- The Bengals took Wisconsin guard Kevin Zeitler with their second choice in the first round of the draft.
The draft party in Waterford was held at Zeitler's fiance's house. Zeitler did get a confusing call while on the Chicago Bears were on the clock -- but it was from a friend, not the team.
"It's nice that everything is finally paying off and have an opportunity to continue my career -- and I hope I can make the most of it," said Zeitler to TODAY'S TMJ4.
They needed a lineman after Nate Livings, their starting left guard each of the last two seasons, went to Dallas as a free agent. Right guard Bobbie Williams broke his right ankle in December and is an unrestricted free agent.
