MAYVILLE- A Mayville teacher has been arrested following allegations of a sexual relationship with a former male student.
The female educator was arrested Wednesday and is being held in the Fond du Lac county jail.
The district's superintendent tells TODAY'S TMJ4 she received a tip call Monday informing her of the alleged conduct. Superintendent Patricia Antony and high school principal Lee Zarnott escorted the teacher from the school after confronting her.
She remains on paid administrative leave.
Investigators believe the sexual contact took place in Fond du Lac County.
Parents were alerted to the possible misconduct by phone and a letter distributed to parents.
