Waupun coach accused of sex assault
WAUPUN - A track and field coach with the Waupun School District is accused of sexual assault.
Police told the Beaver Dam Daily Citizen newspaper the alleged incidents happened in the gym at Rock River Intermediate School.
The 43-year-old coach is in the Fond du Lac County Jail. Police say the man is not a teacher, but a paid civilian coach.
He is no longer coaching for the school district. Charges are expected to be filed early next week.
