Two men charged in West Allis bar robberies
MILWAUKEE - Two men are facing armed robbery charges for a string of bar robberies in West Allis.
A speedy rewards card led police to Tyler Tiedke and Kenneth Kowis.
Prosecutors say Tiedke dropped the card while robbing a store in Slinger.
As Slinger Police were investigating that, they noticed that Tiedke's car matched a description linked to the robbery of Lynch's Tavern at 108th and Lincoln last week.
As police were questioning the two about the robbery at Lynch's, they admitted to robbing another bar at the corner of South 75th Street and West Beloit Road twice in March.
The two say they robbed the bars to get money for drugs.
