West Bend man dead in crash with semi truck
WEST BEND - The Washington County Sheriff's Department said Monday that a man from West Bend was killed in a collision with a semi truck.
Authorities say Patrick Gillespie, 33, was driving his car when it went into the back end of a semi truck that had stopped on northbound U.S. 45.
The crash happened Saturday morning at about 1:45 a.m. near the Highway 145 exit in the Town of Polk.
A couple from Grafton were riding in the semi truck when the crash happened. They were not hurt.
