Romney to appear at Lawrence University on Friday
APPLETON, Wis. (AP) -- Lawrence University officials say overflow seating for an appearance by Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney is available on a first come-first serve basis Friday.
Romney is scheduled to speak at the Appleton campus about 2 p.m.
Local police say they're expecting about 1,000 additional people on campus for the appearance.
Romney will join GOP presidential candidates Newt Gingrich and Rick Santorum at a Saturday event in Pewaukee organized by the Wisconsin Faith & Freedom Coalition before holding a Town Hall in Muskego.
