VP Biden arrives in Milwaukee; GOP candidates stump throughout state
MILWAUKEE - As all the GOP Presidential primary candidates engage in a full schedule in the state before the primary coming on Tuesday, Vice President Joe Biden has arrived in Milwaukee to campaign for his running mate, President Barack Obama.
Biden came to the Italian Community Center in Milwaukee on Thursday.
Each of the men who wish to battle Mr. Obama in the Presidential general election have slated appearances in the state.
Former Speaker of the House of Representatives Newt Gingrich was to speak at Marquette University on Thursday.
U.S. Representative Ron Paul has scheduled a town hall in Madison.
Former U.S. Senator Rick Santorum was the first to travel to Wisconsin, and he has many more stops ahead, including Chippewa Falls on Friday.
Mitt Romney was to come to the Milwaukee area on Friday. Gingrich, Romney and Santorum are all scheduled to appear at a Faith and Freedom Coalition event in Waukesha on Saturday.
"I think we're going to be one of the handful of swing states across America that will probably determine the next President," claimed Wisconsin Republican Governor Scott Walker.
