Woman found guilty of threatening judge
STEVENS POINT, Wis. (AP) -- A Plover woman is found guilty of threatening to burn down a judge's house unless he changed his ruling in a child custody case.
Thirty-five-year-old Julie Grych will be sentenced June 8 and faces a maximum 18 years in prison. Portage County prosecutors say Grych left a voice message for Judge Frederic Fleishauer last September threatening to burn his house if he didn't return her children to her.
The Stevens Point Journal (http://spjour.nl/HbYfIs ) says Grych was also convicted in a 2007 court case for threatening to burn down her parole officer's house and also threatening the mayor.
