State highway closed in Kenosha after head-on crash involving semi
KENOSHA - The Wisconsin State Patrol says the Kenosha Police Department was on scene of a multiple-vehicle crash that brought about the closure of both directions of a state highway there.
The crash happened at about 4:00 a.m. Tuesday on State Highway 158 between County Highway H and state Highway 31. TODAY'S TMJ4 Road Warrior Caitlin Morrall said it appeared that the highway re-opened at about 7:15 a.m.
A Kenosha Police sergeant tells Newsradio 620 WTMJ's Jay Sorgi that a mini-van was following a semi-truck and pulled out slightly to the left. Another semi-truck was coming in the other direction and struck the mini-van head-on.
Police said a woman driving the mini-van suffered what was described as minor injuries. She could be released from the hospital later on Tuesday.
