MILWAUKEE - Milwaukee Police secured a home near 73rd and Hadley Sunday afternoon when a woman discovered a live grenade among her deceased husband's belongings.
The woman, who was looking through her husband's things, found the live grenade and called police.
Police say that the Hazardous Devices Unit was able to secure the grenade safely and a bomb squad was called in.
There were no injuries.
A police spokesperson says that if people find ammunitino or other posisble explosive devices, they should call police immediately.
