Senator cleared of drunk driving charges
MILWAUKEE - Former state senator Randy Hopperhas been cleard of drunk driving charges.
A video captures his field sobriety test.
Hopper's attorney tells Today's TMJ4 that the truth is winning out over witnesses with a hidden agenda.
Last summer following his support of Governor Walker's collective bargaining bill, a couple called in a drunk driver who they claimed was driving eratically.
That driver turned out to be Hopper.
The couple claims they did not know it was Hopper in the vehicle.
A breath test on the scene reportedly showed a point one three, but those tests are not recognized by state courts.
