Police release 9-1-1 call from Slinger deadly shooting

SLINGER- Police have released the 9-1-1 call made by the wife of a homeowner that shot and killed Bo Morrison on March 3.
According to police, Morrison was drunk and broke into the homeowner's porch around 2 a.m. while trying to hide from authorities. The homeowner shot and killed Morrison, then the homeowner's wife called 9-1-1.
Below is a fraction of the call:
Wife: 'I need an ambulance and the cops to be called. Someone was in our house.''
9-1-1 Operator: ''Are they still there?''
Wife: ''My husband fired. They were in the back hall and my husband fired shots.''
9-1-1 Operator: ''He did? Did he hit anybody?''
Wife: ''Yes"
Operator: "Is it a male or a female that he hit?"
Wife: "Male."
9-1-1 Operator: "Where did he hit him?"
Wife: "In the chest."
Operator: "Is he still breathing?"
Wife: "No."
The Washington County district attorney's office determined "the homeowner acted lawfully in self defense when he fired a single shot at Mr. Morrison," said the press release.
