Two teenagers killed in crash in Brown County
SCOTT, Wis. (AP) -- Two teenagers are dead after their car flipped over in a Brown County creek.
According to the county sheriff's department, the crash happened in the township of Scott at about 3:40 p.m. Monday.
The department says the car was traveling north on State Highway 57, attempted to turn right on Church Road during a rain shower and lost control. It then overturned in a creek trapping both teens in the vehicle.
Both occupants were later pronounced dead at a hospital. Officials say alcohol does not appear to be a factor.
