Marquette, Wisconsin learn NCAA Tournament seeding, opponents

MILWAUKEE - March Madness is upon us and two college teams from Wisconsin are dancing.

Marquette earned a #3 seed in the NCAA Tournament's West Region and will play either BYU or bubble team Iona Thursday in Louisville, Kentucky. Marquette is coming off a Sweet 16 appearance in 2011 after earning a #11 seed.

They beat Xavier and Syracuse before falling to North Carolina in Newark, New Jersey last year.

With a win, they would face the winner of the Murray State-Colorado State game.

Wisconsin got a #4 seed in the East Region and will play Montana on Thursday in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The Badgers are be making their 14th straight appearance in the NCAA Tournament.

They would meet the winner of the Vanderbilt-Harvard game in the second round.

Kentucky, Syracuse and North Carolina all earned top seeding.
