2 life sentences in deaths of young brothers
MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- A Madison man has been sentenced to life in prison for killing his girlfriend's two young sons.
On the first day of his trial Tuesday, David Hoem asked a Dane County judge to change his pleas to guilty and to sentence him immediately.
Hoem is accused of strangling 3-year-old Kemaury McArthur and 4-year-old Kevin McArthur after picking them up from their father's home last July.
