Vigil set for boy killed by train in Wauwatosa
WAUWATOSA - Organizers have scheduled a vigil in Wauwatosa to remember a boy killed by a train.
A freight train struck and killed Joey Kramer on Monday morning near the corner of North 68th and West State Streets.
He was wearing ear buds and had his hood up, so he didn't hear or see the train.
The train conductor says he saw the boy and blew his horn.
Kramer and his mother moved into a home in the area last month.
The vigil has been scheduled for Friday night at 6:00 p.m. at the corner of 68th and State.
