Antigo H.S. students suspended after drug investigation
ANTIGO- Ten students are suspended after a drug investigation at Antigo High School.
Police say two students brought prescription medicine to school and were trying to sell those pills to other students.
Antigo Police Chief Eric Roller tells WAOW-TV the students were trying to sell their own attention-deficit medication.
Police say 10 students, many of them sophomores, have been suspended from school.
The investigation began after a student tipped off a school officer.
The Unified School District of Antigo had no comment Monday. But in a statement last week, district officials said they're focused on providing a good learning environment for students.
