MILWAUKEE - A former county staffer and campaign aide to Governor Walker will back in court today.

Timothy Russell is set to be arraigned this morning.

He's charged with several felonies and a misdemeanor for embezzlement from a john doe investigation.

The charges are tied to operation freedom, an annual military appreciation day held at the zoo.

Another man tied to the John Doe investigation will face also a judge today.

Brian Pierick is accused of meeting a teenage boy through Craigslist.

His lawyers say although the boy was 17, Pierick thought he was 19 because of a web ad on Craigslist. His lawyer thinks the charges are bogus.
