PHOENIX- Another day passed Wednesday and still no resolution on the Ryan Braun front.  The National League MVP and his team are awaiting a ruling on his appeal of a possible 50-game suspension for a positive test for a banned substance.

Brewers position players report to spring training Friday with the first full squad workouts set for Saturday, although most have already reported.  Braun is not one of them.

Two things are obvious from Brewers camp.    The players are completely behind Braun and will openly welcome him the moment he sets foot in the clubhouse and they fully expect to contend for a playoff spot even if Braun is suspended for 50 games.

Lance Allan will be bringing the latest from Brewers camp for the rest of the week.
